Credit Card Charges

If we are able to establish that you were mis-sold payment protection insurance and should you have had a credit card and have made a late payment or exceeded your credit limit, it is likely you will have experienced excessive charges imposed by your credit card provider. Consumer law states that credit card companies can only charge you a fee which is in line with the costs to them and they are not allowed to penalize you or charge you above their cost. Unfortunately the opposite has been happening for many years.

In April 2006, the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) found that charges applied by credit card companies were too high, many charging as much as £35. It concluded that fees above £12 were unfair and unreasonable and as a result many credit card companies have lowered their charges to this level. Whilst this is a positive step, many consumers are entitled to claim back these unfair charges, these claims can be backdated up to six years and include interest payable by the credit card company from the date the charges were debited.

At Claims Advisory Group we have an experienced team of claim negotiators who can help you claim back these excessive charges on a no win, no fee basis*, we will fight on your behalf to ensure this money, which is rightfully yours is returned to you. By simply filling out an application pack we can get to work and have the last six years of unfair credit card charges refunded back to you.
