We are aware of scams involving telephone calls from someone claiming to be from Claims Advisory Group or a solicitor. Clients are typically told that their case has been successful and that in order to release their refund they are asked to purchase cash vouchers through a local high street shop and use the reference code to send the payment by email or over the telephone. While the two voucher schemes commonly used are Ukash and Paysafecard, we have been made aware that people have also been asked to purchase iTunes Gift Cards which can then be redeemed by the caller once they obtain the serial number. iTunes Gift Cards are solely for the purchase of goods and services on the iTunes Store and App Store. Should you receive a request for payment using iTunes Gift Cards outside of iTunes and the App Store please report it to Action Fraud.

Please note that we would never ask for any upfront payment. We operate on a strictly no win, no fee basis (unless you decide to cancel once we have progressed your case). If you have received a successful compensation pay-out from your lender as a result of any mis-selling we will inform you of this in writing and send you an invoice for the payment of our fee. If you have been a victim and paid money via the Ukash or Paysafecard voucher scheme, been asked to purchase an iTunes Gift Card or have received a telephone call requesting such a payment, please contact UKash immediately on 0808 234 6244 or Paysafecard on 0800 051 7162 (open 24 hours) and report the matter to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040.
